'Molli and Max In The Future' is a Sci-Fi Romantic Comedy about a man and woman whose orbits repeatedly collide over the course of 12 years, 4 planets, 3 dimensions and one space-cult. A grounded romantic comedy set in an absurd world, 'Molli and Max' takes the character-driven romance of a movie like "When Harry Met Sally" and combines it with an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink sci-fi universe of something like "Futurama." Through a combination of old-school practical visual effects (hand-built models, miniatures, puppets and rear-projection) and cutting edge technology (Unreal Engine and LED Volumes) we've created a universe like no other. Tentacles! Robots! Glorp!

Two best friends with aspirations of being music producers wind up on the run from a powerful music family after they accidentally switch cars and find a famous dead rapper in the trunk. Think Broad City meets Pineapple Express.
Angela and Edi are best friends that love hip hop music, possibly even more than they love weed. They worship hip hop legend Mo Daddy and think their tracks might be the answer to all of his recent problems with his rival Lil' Malcom. After an embarrassing attempt to get him their latest track, they go to their favorite weed dispensary where they accidentally get into the wrong car. Unfortunately for them it belongs to Jimmy Kane: son of Mama Kane, CEO of hip hop label Kane Records. When they quickly realize they have the wrong car, and discover the dead body of Lil’ Malcolm in the trunk, they're set off on a fight for their lives, their careers and their friendship.
